In 2010, I met the Boy, and in 2012 we'll be married. Although, cattle is our first love our house and farm is surrounded by cornfields. I never really grew up around crops, and crop science class seemed like a good class to be late for and try and slip in the back door. However, recently my #agnerd tendencies have led to be quite inquisitive about this crop. I mean it grows so fast!So learn a little bit with me, and read along with my corn reports.

We break apart the corn, and the Boy teaches me signs to watch for so we know when the corn will be ready for harvest.
August 2, 2011- Monster corn.
There are ears on the plant now. I also tell you what the silks are for.

Plus, you get to see my nice white legs. Hottie.
June 6, 2011 - Not quite knee high
It was amazing to see the difference in height in just a week.
